Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm, Pantabangan – Nueva Ecija is one of the largest provinces in Central Luzon. With that, a lot of places and things to see and do are waiting to be discovered. One of the up-and-coming tourist destinations in Nueva Ecija is Pantabangan Dam. Its interesting landscape makes it a nice 180-degree background for Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm to build an eco-friendly resort so you can enjoy the view of the Pantabangan River from a distance.

Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm – Nueva Ecija’s Newest Resort Experience

Farm Ridge by Desmond Farms is an up-and-coming farm tourism site in Pantabangan, one of the first-class municipalities in Nueva Ecija. Farm Ridge has this vision of promoting farm and agriculture tourism in that part of Nueva Ecija since the province is considered as the “Rice Bowl of the Philippines.” Plus, the 180-degree view of Pantabangan River is an added value to what Farm Ridge has to offer.

We also indulged into the perfect mix of nature and comfort. Their delicately designed cabins rightly complement with the vibe of nature. It is just relaxing to look at the mist hugged Pantabangan River and Sierra Madre mountain range while enjoying your warm cup of coffee or cool glass of wine! Situated on top of a hill, this solitary place is self-sufficient as it has its own farm and cacao plantation that is post-processed into chocolate and other farm-produced products.

What to expect (and things to do) in Farm Ridge, Nueva Ecija

Since Farm Ridge already offers a panoramic view of the Pantabangan River and Sierra Madre, there are also a lot of things to see and do inside the farm. There is an organic farm after the reception area where several vegetables are being cultured. You can also see some vegetables planted within and near the cabins, which is also an added attraction.

There is also a farm tour around the vicinity of Farm Ridge, where you get to see vast cacao plantations that their workers cultivate and you can also visit Awitan Falls. (Unfortunately, we have not tried this activity as the weather was not on our side when we went. The employees advised us not to push through with the farm tour for safety reasons – a reason for us to come back soon!)

Farm Ridge Room types and Tariff Rates

The Matahum Farmhouse

One of the biggest accommodation types in Farm Ridge, it can fit up to 13 people. The farmhouse features 2 bedrooms, a wide living space, internet connection, pantry, comfort room, bathroom, large and covered view deck, and a pool. This is just located above the reception area so you have a generous view of the Pantabangan River and Sierra Madre Mountain Range.

The Cabins with Attic

These are triangular cabins with an attic and a larger view deck where you get to enjoy Pantabangan’s exciting view of nature. This quaint and simple living space makes your bond with family and friends much closer. It features 1 attic bedroom, living space with direct access to the outdoor view deck, bathroom, comfort room, and a view deck. I suggest you book your stay at the Amihan Cabin or the Hiraya Cabin for a full Farm Ridge view experience (you’re welcome!)

Loft Cabins with Side Pool

These hexagonal cabins feature Farm Ridge’s signature rustic interiors with a generous view of the river and mountains. Its interiors are surprisingly spacious and it can fit up to 4-6 people. You get to see the Pantabangan River backgrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountain Range while enjoying a dip in the cabin’s pool! It features 1 loft bedroom, living space with outdoor pool and view deck, pantry, comfort room and bathroom.

This is also the type of cabin we stayed during our staycation because of its location, amenities, and it offers the right kind of view from a distance. We stayed at the Biyaya Cabin and all 5 cabins in our row, I can say, have the best and most generous view, alongside Bahaghari, Amihan, and Hiraya Cabins. Prices start from ₱ 3,960.00.

Farm Ridge Sierra

These room types offer a higher point of view of the river below. Situated just before the entrance of Farm Ridge, these triangular- and hexagonal-shaped cabins also have the same vibe, with a more generous view! Prices start from ₱ 3,920.00.

How to go to Farm Ridge, Nueva Ecija

From Baguio

A good 3-4 hours drive from Baguio, you can reach Farm Ridge via:

(1) Binalonan-Dagupan Highway or via Binalonan (Manaoag) Exit and pass through the towns of Binalonan, Asingan, Santa Maria, Tayug, San Quintin, and Umingan. The next main town / city going to Farm Ridge is via San Jose City and Rizal, before reaching the town of Pantabangan.

(2) You can also pass through Rosales (San Jose-Carmen Road), turn left and pass through the towns of Rosales and Umingan, then pass through San Jose City and Rizal as well.

(3) If you are coming from further south, you can also pass through Tarlac exit, take the CCLEx (turn left) and you will pass through the towns of Aliaga, Llanera, and Rizal, before reaching Pantabangan.

From Manila

With the same travel time when coming from Baguio City, the nearest and fastest route to Farm Ridge from Manila (NCR) is through NLEx, SCTEx, and TPLEx. Then take a right turn to Exit 122 of CCLEx. You will pass through the towns of Aliaga, Llanera, and Rizal, before reaching Pantabangan as well.

Farm Ridge by Desmond Farms Business Profile

Upon checking in, the staff of Farm Ridge will let you know about the House Rules of the place, and they will also ask you (during the duration of your stay) if you will avail of their Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner from their restaurant. If you have brought your own food, it is also fine, but they will charge you an additional ₱ 300.00 (for the whole stay) as corkage fee. There are also snacks and souvenirs available at the reception area. Also to confirm your booking / reservation, the Farm Ridge management will ask a downpayment of 33% of your total reservation and pay the balance upon check-out.
