It is the season of blossoming once again and for this edition, Panagbenga 2023 is coming back big – with the theme “A Renaissance of Wonder and Beauty.” On its 28th year, Panagbenga has always been one of the most anticipated events in the Philippines. Celebrating this festive season in the Cordilleras, the Baguio Flower Festival has since been a constant scene highlighting the rich culture and tradition of its people.

Panagbenga 2023 – A Renaissance of Wonder and Beauty
Rising from the challenges brought about by the pandemic, Panagbenga 2023 is seen to be the symbol of hope as it will gather people together again in celebrating the festival. As we gear now towards the next normal, the Baguio Flower Festival aims to regenerate the vibe that once was and hopes to attract more people to Baguio City.
It aims to bring back Baguio City to the tourism map after being hit by the pandemic as the city also moves forward to the next normal. Panagbenga 2023 is the kick-off activity of the City to invite people, locals and visitors alike, to participate in the various activities the Summer Capital has to offer.

For this year, a full-scale Panagbenga 2023 will be showcased. The traditional and community-based activities and events are back, highlighted by the Grand Street Parade and the Grand Floral Float Parade on the last weekend of February! Panagbenga came from the kankana-ey term which means “season of blooming” and is celebrated every February in Baguio City, giving homage to the bountiful harvest all year-round, through a grand exposition of tradition, culture, arts, and fanfare. It also engages community involvement through various activities and events, highlighting the community spirit Panagbenga aims to deliver to the world. It is not just a festival, but is also a celebration of life and giving thanks to all the bounty we received all throughout the year.
