What to expect in the Royal Class of Victory Liner
The premium experience of traveling from Manila to either Baguio City, Tabuk City, and Tuguegarao City just got a notch higher through this new class and bus configuration of Victory Liner. The “capsule hotel” feel of the bus makes the experience more unique.
Although one thing I have observed is that the aisles inside the bus are quite narrow and inconvenient especially if you have big bags with you. Though the seat itself is spacious, I find the footrest quite restricting.
The Royal Class of Victory Liner has a 10-10-8 seating configuration with 2 decks and full-reclining seats and can seat up to 28 people. The bus for this type of class is a Volvo B8R powered by an 8-liter turbo diesel engine with 330 HP and 1200 Nm.
Each seat also has curtains for privacy as well as a reading light and personal overhead aircon vents. What’s new in Royal Class is their 2 charging ports catering to USB-As and USB-Cs. The Royal Class Bus also has a well-appointed toilet and is also equipped with Wi-Fi (although the coverage can get intermittent at times).
There is also a personal steward for the trip, who assisted us throughout the journey. Amenities such as blankets, eye mask, inflatable pillow, and slippers are also provided during the trip. Snacks and a bottle of water is also provided upon riding the Royal Class bus.
From Baguio, you can reach Cubao within 4 hours non-stop via the TPLEx – SCTEx – NLEx. You can now also book your trips via the Victory Liner website! Here are the schedules and fares as of 01 January 2024.
