Wagner Cafe – Baguio’s Hidden Paradise
113 Wagner Cafe – Baguio’s Newest Culinary Adventure
Who would have thought that a simple home tucked in the suburbs of Baguio would turn into one of the most sought-after fine-dining restaurants in the city? 113 Wagner Cafe is the fruit of the effects of the pandemic and the outcome is rather sweet – bringing your dining experience to a whole new level.

This new Baguio discover-eat is one for the books, for me at least, as the restaurant itself is manicured with several flora, making Wagner Cafe’s ambiance more relaxing and homier, so to speak. My words in this blog are an understatement to what you can experience for yourself first-hand when you dine in here! Every corner of Wagner Cafe is meticulously designed so that your eyes “eat first.” All I can say is “wow!” The restaurant itself is perfect for the gram – you will never run out of spaces to take good photos perfect for the drama!
Wagner’s 500-gram Certified Angus Beef Striploin Steak
As it is my first time dining here, we have tried a set menu and we let ourselves be surprised. We then tried the Farm Fresh Food Selection. The set included a Mini sourdough loaf with Wagner Signature Dip for the appetizer, Roasted Tomato Cream for the warm soup, Baguio Harvest Salad with Sagada Orange Vinaigrette for greens, Neptune’s Catch Linguine for the pasta selection, 500-gram Certified Angus Beef Striploin Steak as the main star of the show (one of the best!), Classic Vanilla Panna Cotta with Granola Crunch for dessert (another personal favorite), and Baguio Blend Coffee for the beverage.
It’s Everything Nice in 113 Wagner Cafe
As Baguio is known for its cool climate all year long, Wagner’s interiors are just as warm. Their welcoming staff and romantic vibe are also one for the books! Since then, 113 Wagner Cafe has also been a popular place for proposals, romantic dinners, or simply just a dine-out with friends and family.
Their comfort food choices are the ones to beat I should say. Not being hyperbolical or what, but their food selections are made from the heart and are conscientiously done to make your palates feel more than satisfied. It exceeded my expectations as a newbie foodie. The food selections and the whole restaurant concept are craftily made by the owner, Ms. Techie Pantaleon in collaboration with Chef Rudolph Cabuay, who is Ms. Techie’s former professor at the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management International School for Culinary Arts. The green spaces found in every corner of the café are curated by garden stylist Francis “Kiko” Villalba (who is also a former local TV host!)
113 Wagner Cafe is also a good spot for you to chase the sunset while enjoying your hearty dinner over candle lights. During the daytime, it is also a perfect venue to celebrate your life’s milestones or just to simply grab a bite. You will thank me later for what your eyes will see, and your hearts will feel after dining here! It is like a magnet that will make you keep coming back for more – with new experiences with every visit. It will never get old.
Upon entering the restaurant’s premises and as the staff would assist you to your seat, you will be greeted by a personalized greeting card, marking the start of your culinary experience in Wagner Cafe. Their price range is from ₱ 1750 – 3950.00 (for set meals), and ₱ 110 – 3000.00 (for a la carte choices). To complete the experience and to update your socials real time, there is also a complimentary WiFi connection for your convenience.
