Being the gateway to Cagayan Valley Region, Nueva Vizcaya is home to a lot of surprises. One of which is the mysterious Capisaan Cave System in Kasibu. This 4.2 kilometer cave system is a site that you should not miss! It is one of my best experiences in Nueva Vizcaya!

Discover Capisaan Cave in its natural beauty
Located in the municipality of Kasibu, some 52-53 kilometers from the capital town of Bayombong, the Cave System of Capisaan is one of the main attractions of Nueva Vizcaya. The 4.2-kilometer stretch of the Capisaan Cave System features numerous chambers with a lot of stalactites, stalagmites, columns, “soda straws”, helictites, and abundant freshwater.
Interesting enough, nature’s artwork inside the Capisaan cave is quite humorous. It will make your imagination work as the cave guide will explain and let you see the different interpretations of the different formations found inside. And I tell you, we saw “a lot!” And I mean, a lot! Hahaha! It is up to you to interpret the following photos!
