My City of Dreams story
Situated right at the heart of Parañaque City, the City of Dreams would turn your dreams into reality. Whether finding that posh accommodation, impeccable guest services, gourmet and top-of-the-line cuisines, or just looking for that perfect R&R spot.
COD currently has three hotels that are guaranteed to suit everyone’s taste and lifestyle. There is Hyatt Hotel, Nobu Hotel, and Nüwa. Feel that 5-star experience and indulge yourself into one of these hotels (or why not try them all!) and have that “home away from home” vibe. The golden towers will give you that out of the ordinary experience and brings comfort and style to the next level.
We got to experience first-class amenities and facilities fit for every age type. I was just amazed that they have some much to offer in such a limited space! Every turn we make, there is a sight to see (or a thing to do at that)!
You get to indulge in their World-Class Casino (no picture-taking allowed!) and visit their shops at The Boulevard! There are also a number of restaurants that can satisfy your taste buds when strolling around. You can also see and visit the Grand Ballroom if there are any events of any liking. We also got to experience a different kind of entertainment at Chaos from last year’s Rawr Awards.
What I was surprised was their Food Park beside their Dream Play Theme Park. The Garage is a series of food hubs that ranges from Burritos, Pizzas, Confectionery, Thirst-quenchers, and Oriental Dishes to name a few. The Industrial feel inside complements the millennial in me. The vibe, wall art, and the literal food carts are just in the right place. The food park is also spacious and it also even has a Virtual Reality Zone for added entertainment. It is like having everything in one place!
After a long tiring day when the Blogapalooza event was finished, we were then billeted in Nobu Hotel – one of the three signature hotels at the City of Dreams.
Nobu Hotel: Your new Home
Being one of the three 5-star hotels at the City of Dreams, staying in Nobu Hotel for the second time never gets old for me. That crisp oriental scent will greet you upon entering its doors and will welcome you warmheartedly by their staff.
What I like about Nobu is that their everyone is very friendly and they made us feel at home right at the doorstep. (Talk about being a VIP!) The 5-star experience did not end just there. The room we were checked-in at was very spacious. The view from our room was also stunning as it showed the nearby Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the Pasay skyline.
Personalized as it was, every service you may want to ask is especially tailored to the needs of their guests. I have had a nice cup of tea while watching the sun rise from the Manila horizon. Just in time for the Nobu-fied breakfast.
My feeling is that I was just at home. In my living room and bedroom, enjoying my warm cup of tea while enjoying the City view from the outside. The cozy atmosphere inside the hotel will not make you leave your room! (Unless you explore Nobu’s other amenities!)
