Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car is one of the main attractions in Lantau Island, aside from the popular Hong Kong Disneyland. Reaching the place is just easy and the cable car experience is one for the books (at least for me!) When I got to ride the cable car going to the Ngong Ping Village, our cabin was jam-packed as each cabin can fit up to 10 people. Fortunately, when I came back to their main station in Tung Chung, I was the only passenger inside the cable car cabin.

Just a few meters away from The Big Buddha is the Po Lin Monastery wherein there are monks actively living inside and they go out once in a while to get alms from generous donors. You can also light your incense inside the temple complex as there are incense for sale just around the temple.

Other attractions in Ngong Ping Village include the Wisdom Path, Lantau Peak, and the Tai O Fishing Village.
