Geared with the theme “Celebrating Traditions, Embracing Innovation,” Panagbenga 2024 or the annual Baguio Flower Festival has just been launched in the City of Baguio last 18 December 2023 for its 28^th staging. Being one of the most sought-after festivals in the Philippines during the first months of the year, Panagbenga 2024 has slated different activities that highlights the coexistence of living traditions and the new cultures brought about by innovation.

Panagbenga 2024 – Celebrating Traditions, Embracing Innovation

More than just being the famous Baguio Flower Festival, the  28th Panagbenga also invites everyone to experience the vibrant and unique culture of the Cordilleras through flora and fauna, with the help of the locals’ innovative spirit that will gear the City of Baguio into its future.

Panagbenga 2024 Schedule of Activities

For the 28^th edition of Panagbenga, here is the full schedule of activities for Panagbenga 2024. The festivities will be highlighted by the Opening Parade and Ceremonies on February 3, 2024; the Grand Street Dance Parade on February 24, 2024; and the Grand Floral Float Parade on February 25, 2024. Panagbenga 2024 will hold its Closing and Awarding Ceremonies on March 3, 2024.

Panagbenga came from the kankana-ey term which means “season of blooming” and is celebrated every February in Baguio City, giving homage to the bountiful harvest all year-round, through a grand exposition of tradition, culture, arts, and fanfare. It also engages community involvement through various activities and events, highlighting the community spirit Panagbenga aims to deliver to the world. It is not just a festival, but is also a celebration of life and giving thanks to all the bounty we received all throughout the year.
