Panagbenga is once again in our midst and Panagbenga 2026 is the 30th staging of the prestigious Baguio Flower Festival. Held every February, this annual event is a major tourist draw as it is one of the well-attended festivals in northern Philippines. For this edition, Panagbenga 2026 was launched last 12 January 2025 at the Baguio City Hall and this year’s theme is “Blooming Without End” celebrating the festival’s 30th anniversary.

Panagbenga 2026 is one of the festivals in the Philippines that is celebrated early. Held every February, the annual Baguio Flower Festival is immediately opened right after the equally popular festivals of the Visayas during the Feast of Sto. Niño, namely: Ati-Atihan Festival (Aklan), Sinulog Festival (Cebu), and Dinagyang Festival (Iloilo). Bearing this year’s theme, “Blooming Without End,” this year is a celebration of the thanksgiving of the bountiful harvest of the region throughout the past year – weaved together with the modern touch and traditional attributes of the Cordilleras.

Panagbenga 2026 is more to the celebration of the season of blooming in the Cordilleras as it is also a rich showcase of culture and tradition. Through the years of Panagbenga’s staging, the festivities just keep on upgrading and the festival experience is just getting bigger every year. This year, we are expecting a grander staging of Panagbenga celebrating its 30th anniversary since its inception.
Panagbenga 2026 Schedule of Activities
The 30th edition of the Panagbenga Baguio Flower Festival will be highlighted by the Opening Parade on February 1, 2026 (Sunday). The Grand Streetdance Parade is scheduled on February 28, 2026 (Saturday), followed by the Grand Floral Float Parade on March 01, 2026 (Sunday). The Festival will culminate with a Closing Ceremony and Grand Aerial Fireworks Display slated on March 8, 2026 (Sunday).

Panagbenga came from the Kankana-ey term which means “season of blossoming” and is celebrated every February in Baguio City, giving homage to the bountiful harvest all year-round, through the grand exposition of culture and tradition. It is not just a festival, but is also a celebration of life and giving thanks to the bountiful blessings we received all throughout the year.
