“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” – It is Christmas time once again and everyone is hyped about the Holiday season. This 2018, a whole new experience will be given to tourists and locals alike – the Baguio Country Club’s “Santa’s Christmas Village.”
As an alumnus of Baguio Country Club’s Christmas Village in 2013, I have always looked forward to the holiday season because every year, their theme changes.

The Baguio Country Club Christmas Village will always have a special place in my heart because it always makes me feel the true essence of Christmas. For this year’s theme, they have set up an entire Village for Santa!
This year’s Santa’s Christmas Village is quite different from the other editions of the Christmas Village (for me, at least.) It also a gives a vibe of Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay.
What can be seen inside!
Of course, what’s not to be missed before the Village’s opening at night is their Nativity Pageant. Here, the performers (where I became part of in 2013) would reenact the story of Mary and Joseph finding their way to Bethlehem before giving birth to Jesus.
After the Nativity Pageant, another attraction that I like the most is their Snowfall! This artificial snowfall will let everyone experience Christmas in Winter Wonderland. Occurring every 15 – 30 minutes, I can say that this is the Christmas Village’s main highlight.
Another improvement in this year’s Santa’s Christmas Village is its Christmas Lightshow wherein the lights inside the village seem to dance to the music’s beat! While enjoying the different sights inside the Christmas Village, you can also have a picture with Santa Claus, make your children or siblings wish in the Wishing Wall, or enjoy the cold night with warm food sold inside the Village. Live Performances every night also vary and will definitely add to your Santa’s Christmas Village experience.
Plus! Do not forget to take picture with Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Angel Gabriel, The Three Wise Men, and the Shepherds!
Entrance fees to Santa’s Christmas Village are: PhP 120 (regular adult); PhP 50 (for children aged 4 – 12 years); PhP 85 (for senior citizens)*; while Children below 3 years old, Baguio Country Club Members*; and Persons with Disability* are free of charge. (* – upon presentation of Valid ID/s.)
The Christmas Village is open from 2:00 P.M.–10:00 P.M. on Weekdays and 10:00 A.M.-11:00 P.M. on Weekends and Holidays. The Village is open until 06 January 2019! For other details, see the picture below!
