Swissotel – Experiencing Swiss Hospitality in Clark
Swissotel – Swiss Hospitality at its finest
Situated in the middle of the bustling Clark Freeport Zone, Swissotel Clark is the perfect addition to the booming tourism scene in Pampanga. Its notable and eye-catching 22-storey building makes the Swissôtel experience more fascinating, family-friendly, and perfect ‘for the gram.’ As it is situated inside the Hann Casino Resort Complex (alongside Marriott Hotel and Widus Hotel and Casino), it will give you seamless access to all hotel facilities, amenities, and recreation spots found within – all in one place!

Whether visiting for business of for leisure, Swissotel has got you covered. I, for one, have experienced one of the best services a hotel has to offer. Every inch of the hotel screams 5-star, and my expectations were exceeded. All I said was “wow!” The state-of-the-art amenities and facilities of the hotel will really make you stay a memorable one. Their scenic infinity pool, too, with the façade of the hotel will bring out the best of what Swissôtel and Pampanga has to offer. From afar, the Cabusilan Mountain Range will be seen which is a great view for sunsets.
Oh, didn’t I tell you that their food is great? Yep! All their food choices are top-notch! Whether it is Asian, Western, or Pizzas and Pastas, the plaza-style setup of their all-day restaurant, Markt, will bring you to another dimension. During my stay, the star of the show was their Surf and Turf (₱ 850.00) which is grilled tenderloin with garlic butter prawns. Yummy! I also tried their personalized Spaghetti Bolognese (₱ 350.00), and their Buttermilk Fried Chicken (₱ 400.00). You can also create and personalize your own pasta with a choice of pasta, and sauce, fitted to your preference – just ask the chef in their open kitchen!
Experience Swissotel at the heart of Clark
Swissotel Clark has two room configurations which are catered to make your business or leisure stay more tailored to your needs. You can be billeted in either the city view or mountain view, whichever you prefer to spend the rest of your day to just unwind.
Swissotel’s Premium Room has a 39 m2 space with unique Swiss brand of hospitality – neutral colors, wooden floors, and comfy beds, either kind or two double beds, according to your taste.
The hotel’s Swiss Advantage Room boasts 46 m2 of bold color palettes which adds warmth relative to Swissôtel’s branding – intimate, simple, yet modern.
*In-room dining service is also available upon request and can be availed daily from 0600 until 2200 H.
What to see in and around Swissotel
In all Swissotel’s floor area, there are around 10 outlets to choose from – from Asian, Western, Filipino, or anything in between. This mini-City has got you covered in almost all aspects of comfortable living – having a relaxing dine in their restaurants, have access to their VIP conference rooms for meetings, dessert stops for your sweet tooth, or dip into their infinity pool while enjoying Pampanga’s idyllic skyline. Here are some of the hotel’s outlets that I have visited during my stay.
Swisstropic Pool Bar
The Swisstropic Pool Bar offers signature cocktails that are named after local places in the Philippines offering you a glimpse of what other popular Philippine tourist destinations taste like. I have tried their Signature Luzviminda Cocktail, which is a concoction of dark rum, chase elder flower, lavender syrup, strawberry syrup, cucumber, kamias, and guyabano juice – all the Philippines rolled into one drink! We also tried their Potipot and Guyam cocktails (₱ 380.00 each)! All were yum! The Swisstropic Pool Bar is open from 1100 – 2200 H (Monday – Friday) and 1000 – 2200 H (Saturday – Sunday). The pool bar is also open to non-inhouse guests from 1730 – 2200 H daily.
Markt
Swissotel’s all-day dining restaurant is the mainstay of show. Offering a myriad of food choices, Markt also offers what the eyes can eat! The interiors inside Markt are really for the gram! I tried their Surf and Turf (₱ 850.00) which is grilled tenderloin with garlic butter prawns. Yummy! I also tried their personalized Spaghetti Bolognese (₱ 350.00), and their Buttermilk Fried Chicken (₱ 400.00). Markt is open daily from 0600 – 1000 H (breakfast), and 1100 – 2200 H (lunch and dinner).
Bar 20 Entertainment Lounge
Open daily from 1000 – 0200 (+1) H on Sunday – Thursday, and 1000 – 0400 (+1) H on Friday and Saturday.
Ristorante Di Verona
Open from Wednesday – Sunday, 1130 – 1430 H (lunch), 1730 – 2200 H (dinner).
Oma’s Dessert Bar
Just located at the hotel’s main lobby, beside The Atrium, Oma’s Dessert Bar is open daily from 0800 – 2200 H. This is literally the haven for sweet-teethed people (like me!) You can enjoy various dessert treats and their signature fried ice creams, too!
Spice
Swissôtel’s resident Asian Restaurant which is open daily 24/7.
Nasi
If you are craving for Filipino treats, dishes, and delicacies, Nasi is the place to be. They are open from 1000 – 0200 (+1) H, Monday – Thursday, and 1000 – 0400 (+1) H, Friday – Sunday.
Swissotel The Atrium
If you just want to hangout and chill in the hotel’s main lobby, The Atrium is the perfect place I can recommend. This is where you get to see floor-to-ceiling indoor plants and natural lighting coming from the Swisstropic Pool level. This is the first spot you should try when staying a night or two in Swissôtel. The bar is open daily starting 1100 H until 2200 H.
Turista Boy’s take on Swissôtel
Being a person fond of exploring hotels, whether big or small, Swissotel’s brand of hospitality brings everything a notch higher. As a hospitality and tourism graduate myself, I am beyond impressed on how the staff carried out the brand’s core values of personability, style, and professionalism. Every inch of Swissotel screams style and sophistication, making the accommodation experience more memorable for every guests. All you needs are being attended to in a snap of a finger, bringing comfortability right at your fingertips. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, too! What can I say? This is one of the hotels I would love coming back to whenever I will be visiting Pampanga!
