Woven Philippines: Here is the PH Pavilion for Expo 2025
Expo 2025: Woven Philippines – As this year’s theme for World Expo 2025 is “Designing Future Society for our Lives,” the Philippine Pavilion highlights the importance of our interconnection with ourselves and with nature – the harmony in moments we share together is what brings us together as a people. Here are some of the highlights of the #WovenPhilippines, the Philippine Pavilion for Expo 2025.

Woven Philippines – Tapestry that binds people together
The Philippine Pavilion for Expo 2025 features at least 212 woven panels surrounding the pavilion’s facade, reminding everyone visiting the World Expo that we are all interconnected with ourselves and also one with nature.
Each woven panel represents the diversity and unique cultures and traditions of the different regions in the Philippines – showing the connection between nature, culture, and community.
What to expect in the Woven Philippines Pavilion
The Woven Philippines Pavilion will welcome you with a light show, introducing a brief background of the Philippines and will give you reasons to Love the Philippines even more.
After the light show, you will be led to an exhibition panel room where you will be introduced to the 18 different regions of the Philippines, telling you a brief story and the highlights of each region. Also showcased in these panels are the different weaved textiles unique to each region.
After knowing the reasons to Love the Philippines through its 18 regions, there is an interactive LED display where you will be invited to dance with nature! And as a souvenir for visiting the Woven Philippines Pavilion, you can take an AI-generated photo of yourself showcasing the different flora and fauna of the Philippines! (I chose tropical fruits as my souvenir!)
After experiencing a glimpse of what the Philippines would offer, there is a promotional video showcasing the top tourist destinations and sites in the country followed by a culture dance number. The featured Philippine dance may vary per hour and per pavilion visit. When I visited during the opening day of Expo 2025, the national dance – Cariñosa, was performed.
There is also a small exhibit and gift shop of the different Philippine weaves if you want to take home a taste of Philippine Culture. You can also chill at the Woven Philippines pavilion with a traditional hilot at the resting area and take home a taste of the Philippines just outside the pavilion.
