Visiting memory lane in a delicious way!
Themed restaurants have always been of interest to me. It gives me a picture of what it is to live and experience a certain era in the past (or present) making the experience different. In this blog, I have experienced living in the Jukebox era of the ’50s and the ’60s!
Filling Station is one of the restaurants that I can say is unimaginable. Every trinket you see on its walls, floor, and even their life-size figures is reminiscent of the ’50s and ’60s. What amazed me most is that every detail is consistent with their theme and is really one for the books. Their American menu also adds to the experience because almost all their food choices are good for sharing! Bigger servings is a plus and you will definitely eat to your heart’s content.
When we got here, we have tried American staples of ribs, pasta, and fries! We traveled all the way from Cubao just to see the nostalgic neon-lit vibes of Filling Station. Even their wait staff are dressed up, too! It is literally a time travel in a delicious way.
What else to expect
What’s amazing in Filling Station, too, is that you can play billiards while enjoying a drink or two. Their wait staff will assist in any way you want. (Plus! Their uniform is nostalgic, too!) There are different sights to see inside and everything is just picture perfect. Invite your friends over and have plate or two while enjoying the sights inside. It is a perfect spot for your weekend barkada nights or just enjoy a booze over good food! Their multi-cuisine menu will let you eat to your heart’s content. This Instagram-worthy restaurant is a perfect 10 for me.
