Tudor in the Pines | Into the Woods! (AirBnB Review)
Baguio is known for its pine trees and crisp cold climate. Staying in Tudor in the Pines brings your Summer Capital experience to a whole new level. Having to stay in a place where you get to experience Baguio on a whole new level is one thing.

Resembling the elegance of the Old English Era, this place is a one-of-a-kind accommodation nestled in the outskirts of Baguio. You probably have not heard of this before and I am telling you now! This place is lit. When we visited and stayed in this AirBnB Listing, I experienced Baguio on a whole new level.
You can picture yourself that you are in a different place as this one is far from the hustle and bustle. Their location is quite tricky and Google Maps would be your best friend when looking for this place because it is located in the suburbs. Though the place is just by the road, you can easily locate Tudor in the Pines.
Turista Boy Tip: As this place is far from the nearest satellite market or supermarket, I suggest that you buy your food and beverage items in downtown Baguio already so all you have to do is prepare and cook while checked in. (Except for the Tree Houses, all accommodation types have kitchens).
Surrounded by pine trees, you can busk around their Dap-ayan and share stories around a bonfire. We also had a ‘forest-bathing’ when we stayed here as you get to have an unobstructed experience with Baguio’s cold climate. I bet if you stay here, you would not want to leave!
Their accommodations have Philippine-made furniture (including your grandma’s “mahiwagang baul“) and upcycled wooden dining tables. All accommodation types also come with slippers, basic toiletries, and towels. The kitchens in all types of accommodation (except the tree houses) are also well-equipped so you do not have to call for food delivery – only home cooked food! There are no room keys as all rooms are equipped with coded door passes which will be given to you upon check in.
There is also a new attraction in Tudor in the Pines, its outdoor lounge area and their mini garden just below it. You can enjoy the sunrise with a warm cup of coffee in these areas. You can also see a generous view of the mountains in their watchtower.
How to get to Tudor in the Pines
When you decide to commute, look for jeepneys going to Barangay Balacbac (their jeepney station is at Shagem Street, across Security Bank and in front of A Hotel). Jeepney Fare going to Tudor in the Pines is pegged at PH₱ 15.00 (US$ 0.27). If you want to go via a Taxi Cab, just tell them to bring you to Barangay (Lower) Balacbac, Alluyon Village or show the pinned location on Google Maps. Taxi fare ranges from PH₱ 150.00 – 200 (US$ 2.68 – 3.58), depending on the traffic condition.
When you go here via your private car, just search for ‘Tudor in the Pines‘ in Google Maps or Waze and directions leading to the place will be shown. The most prominent landmark going there is that there is a tall watchtower and view deck and the property’s gate is black. It is found on the left side of the road.
