Dear survivor,

Hey, how has it been? This unprecedented time where everything came to a halt is just mind-boggling, right? Yes, I know. You may be smiling on the outside, but you are deeply worried inside. This pandemic is the first we have experienced in our lifetimes and it has changed our lives in so many ways – physically, emotionally, financially, and even spiritually. You may not know where you were going at the beginning of the tunnel but I am pretty sure you will be a better person once we reach the end of it.

You are a torch-bearer. You have blazed trails for other people, especially those who are in need. Being a frontline warrior is not easy but you are making it easier for people who are more helpless. You give them hope. The assurance you give them is the same assurance you give to yourself that everything happening now happens for a reason.

This reason may be vague at first, but for sure, we will find the answers at the end of this ordeal. While looking for this reason, we surely have learned lessons along the way and rekindle with relationships that makes us whole again. Being in front of this battle is not easy but I know you overcome it day by day, step by step. You are strong – the flame in your heart never extinguishes and the passion to serve others is what keeps you going.

It will never be easy, my dear survivor. Dealing with an enemy that we cannot see is daunting, but the resilience in your heart is dauntless. Your dreams and goals may be put on a standstill for the meantime, but that can wait, you just have to live every single day as it is, without worries of what tomorrow will bring. You always look forward on the future that lies ahead – it is not impossible. Yes, you have been an inspiration to some, my dear survivor. The torch you keep on carrying illuminated the lives of many, directly or indirectly, as you become a symbol of what it is to be strong despite every tribulation you go through.

Dark secrets may hinder your growth, but it does not bother you. It has never become your personality to delve on negativity and hate. You light the lives of so many, through your work, deeds, and words. You may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is normal. This pandemic is just a speck of dust in the universe of what is yet to happen in everyone’s lives – a lesson that will etch its impact on your heart, making you inspire others more of your story.

Being in front of this battle is never easy, never will. But you chose the path to look for the reason why we were put in this challenge. The torch you carry is you – the person you have become throughout this journey.Remember that you are always one step closer to the end of the tunnel. The discernment is just at your fingertips waiting to be discovered. That is what other people will make an inspiration, as you hold the torch up high for everyone to see and feel its light.
