Situated right in the outskirts of Baguio City, Red Door Cottage and Camp is one of the camping areas in the City where you get to experience the quiet side of Baguio. Nestled within lush greens inside an exclusive subdivision, I can say that this is the place for friends and family to bond over a warm bonfire or while watching a movie of your choice! Not to mention, their hearty meals that will let you experience Baguio at a whole new level.

A place for bonding and intimate gatherings
With glamping gaining its popularity in Baguio and Benguet, Red Door Cottage and Camp is an addition to camping sites that offer the luxuries of a mid-range hotel, but in an outdoor setting. The place’s intimate setup makes it conducive for friends and family to bond and talk about life while being taken away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
While inside the camp, all you must bring is yourself and the food that you want to eat during your stay. Red Door Cottage and Camp will provide you with cooking utensils and cutlery to complete the dining experience in the camp.
To complete your stay, you can enjoy toasting those marshmallows and have a moment at the camp’s bonfire while enjoying the night sky and Red Door Camp’s spacious lot. There are areas where you can have moments on your own and its curated gardens and landscape make it worthy for the gram. You will also have a time to watch a movie of your choice (subject to availability) and bond over a glass of soft drinks and a platter of popcorn. Lucky enough if you see the fireflies in the area watching with you!
Café Kafagway – Food for the Gods
Red Door Cottage and Camp’s in-house Café, Café Kafagway (which is an Ibaloi term for “wide open space” and is the original name of Baguio), offers healthy Western and Pinoy cuisine while enjoying the café’s wide space. They also use local artisanal stoneware by Ugu Bigyan of Tiaong, Quezon. (instagrammable ware if you ask me!) For breakfast, we tried their Tapsilog and Spamsilog (served with red rice!) and for lunch, we were served their in-house specialties such as their grilled burger, longganisa pasta, mushroom pasta, and mushroom soup.
