Rockyard Café – Enjoying the City’s view from the rocks!

As you all know, Baguio City’s topography is mountainous in nature. With the numerous spots in the City and its outskirts that are perfect backdrops for views that overlook another mountain, or another Barangay at that, there is another restaurant addition that meets just that criteria – Rockyard Café!

Located in Barangay Dontogan, one of Baguio City’s highest barangays that offer views that you can just imagine, Rockyard Café is the perfect place for you to eat and unwind at the same time. With a 180-degree view of the nearby barangays of Loakan and Fort del Pilar, the experience is much better as it is complemented with their sumptuous meals and drink offerings.

What to expect in Rockyard Café

Rockyard Café is one of the newest restaurants in the outskirts of Baguio City offering a 180-degree view of Loakan Barangay (with a view of Loakan Airport), Fort del Pilar (with a view of the Philippine Military Academy), and Mount Sto. Tomas and its famous radars.

I personally like their al fresco kubo tables (for better dining experience) as you get to enjoy their food and the view from afar. These kubos are by reservation only so might as well message them on their Facebook Page to reserve your slot. Note, too, that these 4 kubos have time slots to give way to other customers who want to enjoy the view (maximum of 2 hours per slot)! I recommend that you reserve Kubo #4! (You’re welcome!) You can also dine indoors as walk-in guests in the restaurant’s main building.

If you want a quiet place for some different kind of dining and relaxation, Rockyard Café is the place for you. As its location is far from the City’s hustle and bustle, you get to enjoy the restaurant’s warm hospitality and great food! Their price range is from P 55 – 219. Featured here are their Grilled Liempo, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and their Waldorf Salad (a must-try!)
